Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อลดระยะเวลาในการค้นหาข้อมูลประวัติการซ่อมบำรุงของตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ กรณีศึกษาบริษัทขนส่งและกระจายสินค้า ซึ่งแผนกดูแลรักษาตู้คอนเทนเนอร์นั้น มีการจัดเก็บข้อมูลอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก การใช้โปรแกรมฐานข้อมูลจึงมีความจำเป็นในการจัดการข้อมูล เพื่อให้เกิดความถูกต้องของข้อมูลและทำให้เกิดความสะดวกต่อผู้ปฏิบัติงานในการค้นหาประวัติการซ่อมบำรุงของตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ของแต่ละหมายเลขทะเบียน และยังสามารถจัดทำรายงานการซ่อมบำรุงหลังจากการทดลองใช้งาน พบว่าโปรแกรมที่ได้จัดทำขึ้นสามารถช่วยลดระยะเวลาในการค้นหาข้อมูลสำหรับการนำไปใช้งานลดลงจากวิธีการเดิมที่ต้องใช้เวลาในการค้นหาเฉลี่ย 4 นาที 43 วินาที (283 วินาที) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับวิธีการใหม่ซึ่งใช้เวลาเฉลี่ย 55 วินาที หรือสามารถลดลงได้ถึง 80.57% แสดงให้เห็นว่าการจัดทำโปรแกรมฐานข้อมูลเพื่อลดระยะเวลาในการค้นหาประวัติการซ่อมบำรุงของตู้คอนเทน มีความสะดวกรวดร็วมากขึ้น

The objective of this research was to reduce the time needed to search thehistory of container maintenance by using a database program. The research is a case study of a transport and distribution center company in Thailand. The maintenance department in charge of the containers has a number of files for recording container maintenance, and this database program can help to search the maintenance records more quickly and conveniently. According to the results of an on-site test, by comparing the search time for the existing system and the new system, it was seen that the new system reduced the search time from 4 minutes 43 seconds (283 second) to 55 seconds. This means that the search time was reduced by 80.57%, which makes it more convenient to search the history of container maintenance.
