The Model of Community Enterprise Management for Sustainable Growth

Abstract


The objectives of the study were 1) to study the operating conditions of the community
enterprises with competency assessment at a good level 2) to study the model components of
community enterprise management for sustainable growth 3) to develop the model of community
enterprise management for sustainable growth. The Samplings were 353 people working for the
community enterprises in the central region of Thailand with approved registration of
manufacturing and potential assessment at a good level. The research instruments used were
questionnaires with a total reliability of 0.98. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard
deviation, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression
analysis. The results of this study indicated that the significance of components of the Community
Enterprise Management in general was at high level (  = 4.34). the model of community enterprise
management for sustainable growth consisted of 2 components 1) Public Sector Management
Quality Award (PMQA) with the following sub-components - (1) skills of management (2)
manufacturing of various types of goods and products (3) innovations for manufacturing process (4)
constant improvement of goods and products (5) branding for memorization (6) leadership of
executives 2) operating system for sustainability with the following sub-components – (1) vision of
the leaders (2) honesty, morality and ethics of the leaders (3) quality of the products (4)
membership management (5) personnel development (6) marketing management.
