Design of a Learning Activities Based on Connectivism Approach Using Knowledge Reviews

Abstract


This research aims to: 1) design the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review 2) evaluate and verify the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review. The methodology is consisted of 2 steps: 1) the design of the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review 2) the evaluation of the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review. The sample includes 10 experts of the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review who are sampled by Purposive sampling. The research tools are the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review and the evaluation of learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review. The statistics used in the analysis are arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The results found that: 1) The learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review consists of 3 factors: (1) input (2) process and (3) output, and the factor of (2) process of the learning activities includes 2.1) the preparedness process 2.2) the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review process which consists of 7 steps as 2.2.1) to introduce the situation 2.2.2) to find the knowledge of the selfhood and outside then answer to findings of activity on order to start the process 2.2.3 ) to show all findings to all members for acknowledgement 2.2.4 ) to analyze, synthesize and connect the new knowledge to the prior knowledge 2.2.5 ) to summary the new findings or to decide for confirmation the prior findings in order to finally enter the process 2.2.6 ) to create new knowledge resulting from the knowledge review 2.2.7 ) to evaluate and summarize the ideas from findings 2.3) the activity evaluation process. 2)The 10 experts who evaluated the factored learning activity suggest that the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review which is designed are the most appropriate level. As well the evaluation results of the learning activities based on Connectivism approach using knowledge review are the most appropriate level.
