The Study of Media Exposure Behavior\, Perception and Interest in Digital Television Related to Opinions toward the Replacement of the Set Top Box
Abstract
The objective of the research was to study the relationship between media exposure, people’s perception, and people’s interest in matters regarding digital television related to the opinions of people in Bangkok toward the replacement of the set top box. The research methodology was quantity research. The data were collected through 400 samples who were residents in Bangkok Metropolitan Region. The study found the following results: The media exposure in digital television matters of population live in Bangkok associate with the views of replacing set top box included frequency of media exposure, time average, and most of media had correlation to the opinions of people in Bangkok toward the replacement of the set top box with a statistical significance at .05. People’s perception in matters regarding digital television had correlation to the opinions of people in Bangkok toward the replacement of the set top box with a statistical significance at .05. People’s interest in matters regarding digital television had correlation to the opinions of people in Bangkok toward the replacement of the set top box with a statistical significance at .05.
