The Instruction Design Flipped Classroom Model by Using WebQuest Activities to Develop Learning Skills in The 21st Century for Students in Higher Education

Abstract


The objectives of the research study were (1) to design the Flipped Classroom Model by using WebQuest activities to develop learning skills in the 21st century for students in higher education. and (2) to assess the suitability of the Flipped Classroom Model by using WebQuest activities to develop learning skills in the 21st century for students in higher education. Samples were five experts that were selected purposively with experiences in the Instruction design and information technology and communication ,at least 5 years. Tool used in this study was the suitability assessment of the model. The statistics used in this research were the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The results showed that (1) There was the Flipped Classroom Model by using WebQuest activities to develop learning skills in the 21st century for students in higher education that was divided into four parts including Part 1: contextual analysis to instruction consists of 4 elements, Part 2: preparation before study consist of 3 elements, Part 3: the instruction divided into 2 process. and Part 4: the evaluation has 1 element. (2) Evaluation of five experts the instruction model has commented instruction model developed in an overview that was the most appropriate. (= 4.70, S.D.= 0.49)
