The Relationship between Learning Styles and Behaviors in Using The Internet of Undergraduate Students

Abstract

The purposes of the research study were (1) to study learning styles of undergraduate students, (2) to study behaviors of using the Internet of undergraduate students, and (3) to study the relationship between the learning styles and behaviors in using the Internet of undergraduate students. The sample group consisted of 69 undergraduate students of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The research tools were two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was about the learning styles of students and The second questionnaire was about the student behavior in using the Internet. The data were directly collected by the researcher. The total of 69 questionnaires were collected. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage and Cramer’s V Coefficient. The research results were revealed those: (1) most undergraduate students has Participant learning styles (52.20 percent) followed by Collaborative learning (17.40 percent). (2) most undergraduate students (39.10 percent) used the Internet to learn according to their interests, followed by using the Internet to learn based on the teacher assignment (34.80 percent), and (3) there was no relationship between learning styles and behaviors in using the Internet .
