A Multimedia Package Design to Develop Ready Made Jewelry Pavé Setting Skills for People with Hearing Impairment

Abstract


This research is to study a multimedia package design to develop ready made jewelry pavé setting skills for people with hearing impairment. consisted of: the video with hand interpretative explanation in Thai and sound explanation in Thai, samples of finished workpieces, learing and teaching documents comprised with knowledge sheets worksheets evaluation sheets and workpieces for practicing. Then the experiment was taken with the sampling group of upper secondary level students in jewelry field, Soodsuksa Nakornpathom School by purposive sampling of 10 students. Consequently, took the result from the experiment to analyse and evaluate the students’ skills after practicing with a multimedia package design to develop ready made jewelry pavé setting skills for people with hearing impairment. The research found that evaluation result of the students skills after practicing with a multimedia package design to develop ready made jewelry pavé setting skills for people with searing impairment is the average of 78.34, higher than the assumption. This is to conclude that this multimedia package designed could develop ready made jewelry pavé setting skills for people with hearing impairment.
