The Development of Cooperative Web-Based Learning on the Topic of Tense for Prathomsuksa 5 Students of the Schools Under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration: Bangplad District

Abstract

The objectives of the research study were: (1) develop and find an efficiency of the Cooperative Web- Based Learning (CW-BL) using Learning Management System (LMS) of Foreign Language Department (English Subject) for Prathomsuksa 5 students of the schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration : Bangplad District on the topic of Tense, (2) to study learning achievement of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Awutwikasitaram School after the learning with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS on the topic of Tense, (3) to study the opinion of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Awutwikasitaram School who studied with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS. The studied samples were 36 Prathomsuksa 5 students of Wat Awutwikasitaram School. They were selected by using multi-stage random sampling. The research tools consisted of (1) Web-Based Learning using cooperative learning methodology through LMS, 2) achievement test, and 3) the opinion questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test (Dependent). The research findings were : (1) the efficiency of the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS was 80.90/8.76 which was higher than the set criterion 80/80, (2) the students learning achievement after learning with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS was higher than the pretest at statistically significant level .05, and (3) compared means of the opinion of sampling group towards learning with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS were at the highest level.
