The Comparison of Photography 1 Learning Achievement on Lighting and Photography between using Illustrated and Non Illustrated Cartoon Book
Abstract
The purposes of this experimental research were to develop the photography books with illustrated cartoon and non illustrated cartoon on Lighting and Photography with the efficiency criteria of 80/80, and to compare the learning results between students learning through photography illustrated books with illustrated cartoon and non illustrated cartoon. Furthermore, the researcher also compared the students’ satisfaction using those books. Forty of educational technology undergraduate students, Faculty of Education, Ramkhamhaeng University were equally random selected into two experimental groups: the experimental group I using photography books with illustrated cartoon and the experimental group II using photography books without illustrated cartoon. The instruments of this research consisted of 1) the photography illustrated books with illustrated cartoon and the photography illustrated books without illustrated cartoon 2) a learning achievement test and 3) a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed by the statistical program on mean, standard deviation and t-test independent. The findings are as follow: 1. The photography books with illustrated cartoon were found to have as efficiency level of 83.93/80.19 and the photography books without illustrated cartoon were 79.76/79.62 considered to be ellicient according to standard level set at 80/80 2. The posttest scored of students learning with the photography books with and without illustrated cartoon met the statistical significant difference at level of .05 3. The satisfactions scores of students learning with the photography books with and without illustrated cartoon met the statistical significant difference at level of .05
