Development and Evaluation of Teachers’ Counselors Model Employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission
Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: 1) develop and evaluate the teachers’ counselors’ model employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission 2) develop and evaluate the teachers’ counselors’ system employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission and 3) develop and evaluate the efficiency of the training course on the teachers’ counselors’ model employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission, The target group of the research to evaluate efficiency of training course on the teachers’ counselors’ model employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission included 16 teachers’. The results revealed the followings: 1) The development and appropriateness assessment result of the teachers’ counselors’ model employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission consists of four sections (1) Input (2) Process (3) Output and (4) Outcome. The result reported by the experts showed that the overall system was appropriate at a high level. 2) The development and appropriateness assessment result of the teachers’ counselors’ models employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission consists of four sections (1) Structure (2) Teachers’ counselors’ manual (3) Information system and (4) Training program 3) The training course on development of the teachers’ counselors’ model employed by Education Institute under the Office of Vocational Educational Commission can be concluded that the efficiency of the training course was congruent with the objectives. The result showed that the efficiency was 84.64/85.54, the average achievement was 84.29, and the satisfaction evaluation of trainees in overall revealed the highest level and The results of follow-up and satisfaction evaluation from college administrators, trained teachers and students was at the highest level.
