The Tendency of the Production and use of Thai Language Teacher in the Future (2017 – 2031 A.D.)
Abstract
This research design was Ethnographic Delphi Future Research: EDFR. The research objectives were to know the experts opinion about the tendency of the production and use of Thai language teacher in the future (2017 – 2031 A.D.). The research was comprised of procedures to study about the tendency of the production and use of Thai language teacher consistent with the changing conditions and the context of the future society, according to expert opinion. The instruments used for data collection were un-structured interview form and an Opinionnaire. The experts were 21 peoples from a specific selection, divided into three groups: A group of experts involved in the production and use of Thai language teachers. (Personnel from manufacturing institutes) 7 persons, A group of experts involved in the production and use of Thai language teachers (policy level personnel) 7 persons and A group of Thai language academic and experts involved in educational management 7 persons , totaled 21 persons. The statistics used for data analysis were median, mode, interquartile range, and content analysis. The findings of this research were as follow: The tendency of the production and use of Thai language teacher conclusions are from 21 expert interviews. The elements 9 and 99 issues of the interviews get a consensus from the experts that they are consistent with the tendency of production and use the future Thai language teachers (2017-2031 A.D.). Include a study of consisted of a components with production and use of Thai language teacher issues namely; 1) Raising awareness of Thai language with 8 issues, 2) Strategy of the production of Thai language teacher in the future with 9 issues, 3) How to admission in the Thai language teacher program with 9 issues, 4) The role of the university as a production unit of Thai language teacher with 11 issues, 5) The learning process revolution in the University to the graduate of quality Thai language teachers with 17 issues, 6) Professional Learning Community (PLC) for Thai Language Teacher with 11 issues, 7) The use and development of Thai Language professional teachers with 11 issues, 8) The role of Thai language teachers in the organizational culture of Thai government agencies with 4 administrative issues, and 9) Characteristics and Qualities of Thai Language Teachers in the 21st Century with 19 issues.
