ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเลของประชาชนในชุมชนวัดช่องลม ต.นาเกลือ อ.บางละมุง จ.ชลบุรี

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเล และ 2) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเลของประชาชนในชุมชนวัดช่องลม ต.นาเกลือ อ.บางละมุง จ.ชลบุรี เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างประชาชนในชุมชนวัดช่องลม ต.นาเกลือ อ.บางละมุง จ.ชลบุรี จำนวน 267 คน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลประกอบด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา (Descriptive Statistics) ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และทดสอบสมติฐานโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุที่มีตัวแปรหุ่น (Multiple Regression Analysis with Dummy Variable) ผลการศึกษา พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้เรื่องระบบนิเวศชายฝั่งทะเลในระดับดีมาก มีความตระหนักในคุณค่าของการส่งเสริมและรักษาสภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมอยู่ในระดับมาก แต่มีพฤติกรรมอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเลโดยในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับน้อย เมื่อพิจารณาค่าเฉลี่ยรายด้านของพฤติกรรมอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเล โดยเรียงลำดับจากค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดไปหาน้อยที่สุด ได้แก่ ด้านการฟื้นฟูสิ่งเสื่อมโทรม ด้านการใช้อย่างยั่งยืน และด้านการสงวนของหายาก ตามลำดับผลการศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเลของประชาชนในชุมชนวัดช่องลม พบว่า ประชาชนที่มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับระบบนิเวศชายฝั่งทะเล และความตระหนักในคุณค่าการส่งเสริมและรักษาคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อม มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเลของประชาชนในชุมชนวัดช่องลม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 ส่วนเพศและระดับการศึกษาไม่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติชายฝั่งทะเลของประชาชนในชุมชนวัดช่องลม ต.นาเกลือ อ.บางละมุง จ.ชลบุรี

Factors Affecting Behaviors on Coastal Natural Resources Conservation of People in Wat Chong Lom Community, Na Kluea Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chon Buri Province

The objectives of this study were 1) to study behaviors on coastal natural resources conservation and 2) to investigate factors affecting behaviors on coastal natural resources conservation of people in Wat Chong Lom community, Na Kluea subdistrict, Banglamung district, Chon Buri province.  Data were gathered using a questionnaire distributed to 267 samples in the study area.  Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the hypothesis was tested using multiple regression analysis with dummy variable.  The results of the study revealed that the study samples had a very good level of knowledge of coastal ecosystems and a good level of awareness of the value of supporting and conserving environmental quality. However, the overall level of coastal natural resources conservation behavior among the samples was low, with the highest level of conservation behavior for rehabilitation of degraded coastal resources, the second being sustainable consumption, and the last being conservation of rare species, respectively.  Results of the investigation of the factors impacting behaviors on coastal natural resources conservation revealed that understanding of coastal ecosystems and awareness of the value of supporting and conserving environmental quality had a statistically significant impact on behaviors on coastal natural resources conservation of people in Wat Chong Lom community, Na Kluea subdistrict, Banglamung district, Chon Buri province with the level of statistical significance set at .01.  Sex and level of education had no statistically significant impact on conservation behaviors in the study population.
